Chronometrik brand ANTIOXIDANTS are specially formulated for use in the manufacture of Cosmetics and in many types of Food Processing industries such as Fruit Juice Manufacture, Cooking Oils Production, Sugar Processing etc. Fragrances, fats, and oils in food raw materials and in cosmetics are all subject to auto-oxidation by exposure to air, causing ‘off’ odours and chemical/ biological degradation. The addition of antioxidants can be used to preserve these products from oxidation during processing/ production and increase the in-package shelf life during distribution and use.  We manufacture and supply both lipid-soluble and water-soluble Antioxidants.

In cosmetics, more importantly, antioxidants neutralize free radicals, which are produced in our skin by sunlight, street air, auto pollution and other environmental factors, especially industrial sources. Thus, antioxidants play a role in slowing down the aging process, as Free radical oxidation is the basis of the aging process because it causes permanent deterioration of the skin cells’ support structure by decreasing elasticity and resiliency.
